In March 2020, the Moeke foundation won the Volunteer Award in the council chamber of the city hall of the municipality of Kampen. They have been cooking for years for people who, due to difficult family or personal circumstances, cannot do it themselves. How nice it is to be relieved of this burden and to be able to eat healthy in such a difficult situation. Ellen Vreugdenhil is overjoyed. Earlier, her Moeke foundation won the Volunteer Award from the municipality of Kampen, and Floorever provided them with a new floor free of charge so that they can do their work even better in the kitchen. “

Those guys laid it in their free time; how cool is that? I get a really warm feeling from this,” says Ellen Vreugdenhil. The meals are prepared in the kitchen of Moeke and are delivered to families in a frozen, family-sized package. They come with instructions on how to complete the meal, for example with rice or potatoes. A few weeks ago, Bert-Jan Postuma, the owner-director of Floorever, suddenly stood at their door. “I hear you’re doing such good work,” he exclaimed upon entering. “And you still need a floor. I can provide that.”

He had been approached by a fellow entrepreneur, Greet IJzerman of IJzerman BV, with the request to provide a floor for Moeke, so that they can continue to work practically and cleanly. To top it all off, Groku also donated a new workbench to them the next day. “Our happiness knows no bounds,” says Ellen Vreugdenhil.
